100 Years of Mercedes, at the Museum of Transportation through February 2002, celebrates the past 100 years of the Mercedes automobile through a rotating display of milestone automobiles that exemplify the Mercedes-Benz hallmarks of "Glamour and Performance." These include the legendary 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing Coupe, the 1971 280 SE 3.5 convertible, a 1939 170 V Cabriolet A, a 1971 Type 600 Pullman Long-wheel-base Limousine and a 2001 CLK 55 AMG. Also, the magnificent 1905 American Mercedes manufactured by William Steinway, owner of the Steinway Piano Company, will join the exhibit.
